Soluball Singapore was born when our Founder Alex Chiau decided to look into a smarter way to replace heavy, bulky and spill-prone detergents and cleaners – which makes daily cleaning quite a challenge. The goal was to develop a cleaning product designed for convenience in every aspect of the customer’s journey – from the grocery to your home, and in going about your daily household chores.
He sought a solution based on the philosophy of 20% effort, 80% outcome, and built a team around the core belief that good could always get better.
Embarking on an intensive R&D journey, the team (Alex, Daniel & Eddie) developed an effective and compact cleaning solution using a soluble tablet. This soon led to the award of a patent by the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation). The tablet has now been improved to an even more effective design using an encapsulated liquid ball that is 100% biodegradable.
